Maryland BOOST Scholarship Program
Helping Families Access More Educational Opportunities
The Maryland Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today (BOOST) Scholarship Program provides state-funded tuition assistance to eligible students attending participating nonpublic schools. BOOST helps make tuition more affordable so students can learn in an environment that best supports their academic and personal growth.
What is the BOOST Program?
The BOOST Scholarship is a Maryland annual state-funded program administered by the Maryland State Department of Education that helps families pay for tuition at participating nonpublic schools. The goal of BOOST is to give students more educational choices and expand access to high-quality learning opportunities.
Scholarships are awarded each year based on eligibility requirements and available funding.

- Are enrolled or accepted at a participating nonpublic school
- Meet the current Maryland State Department of Education household income eligibility thresholds.
