Fitzgerald Program

The Fitzgerald Program offers tuition assistance to 9th-12th grade students currently enrolled in or applying to a Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Washington Catholic schools.

Fitzgerald Application Opens: Monday, October 7, 2024

The application will remain open until all funds have been distributed. 

 


APPLICATION PROCESS

To demonstrate financial need:
In order to be eligible for the 2025-2026 Fitzgerald Program, applicants must complete a TADS Financial Aid & Assessment Form online at www.mytads.com.  Applications submitted after this date will not be processed. Please note: Applicants are required to complete only ONE TADS Financial Aid & Assessment form to be eligible for both the Archdiocesan Tuition Assistance Program and the Fitzgerald Program.

NEW Applicants must submit the following documents through the links provided.

  1. Completed Fitzgerald Program application. Fitzgerald Application Link
  2. One leadership appraisals from school officials, such as the principal, assistant principal, teachers, counselors, or librarian. Leadership Appraisal Link
  3. Submit a 500-word essay about how your Catholic education has influenced your leadership and identity.  If you are applying to a Catholic school for the first time, please explain how you envision that a Catholic education will influence your leadership and identity. RETURNING Fitzgerald Awardees:

The Fitzgerald Award honors students who have proven leadership characteristics that the Catholic Church and Catholic schools wish to foster. Students must demonstrate financial need and show promise as future leaders for our Church and society.
