Archbishop Carroll High School provides Thanksgiving meals to 250 families

For more than 40 years, the Archbishop Carroll High School community has provided hundreds of holiday meals and boxes of food to families across Washington, D.C. This year, the Catholic high school, which is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Washington, distributed more than 500 boxes of food and turkeys to 250 families during their annual food drive.

“I am very impressed with our work,” Larry Savoy, president of Archbishop Carroll High School, said in his remarks at the school’s livestreamed Thanksgiving Mass on Nov. 23. “We have set out to feed hundreds of families over the course of many years, but especially this year as so many families are in need.”
