Don Bosco Cristo Rey boys and girls soccer teams win Cristo Rey Cup

The Maryland Don Bosco Cristo Rey Catholic High School (DBCR) soccer teams were crowned undisputed champions in the first Cristo Rey Cup, the soccer tournament among DBCR schools from Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Richmond. Great soccer skills were demonstrated by MD students, both men and women, who were the clear winners of the cup.

The Cristo Rey Cup was played at the Georgetown Prep Soccer Field in Bethesda, where results showed that local soccer teams had the upper hand. The DBCR-Maryland Women’s Team defeated DBCR-Baltimore in semifinals 7-1, a score that allowed them to get to the finals.
