Seton senior says ‘teachers and friends strengthened my faith’

Colin Horton, a 17-year-old graduating senior at Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, Maryland, spent her four years as a member of her school’s varsity lacrosse team, and served as captain of that team for the last two years.

That experience, she said, has provided her with more than just physical fitness.

“Being a member of the lacrosse team has enabled me to lead younger teammates through adversity on the field and off,” she said. “My teammates are so important to me, and I am glad we are playing together this spring.”
