Little Flower Early Learning Center (Great Mills)
At Little Flower School Early Learning Center, we believe that each child is unique and should be provided a safe and welcoming environment that fosters their individual development and growth. Our faith-based program encourages a family-centered partnership, facilitating a comfortable transition from home to school, strengthening the positive interactions between parent, child, and center staff.
The ELC is a year-round program, open Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:30pm to meet working families’ needs. We follow the Lillio curriculum, which is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care (MSDE OCC). The two-year-old classroom has a capacity of twelve children (1:6 ratio). The daily schedule includes circle time, small group learning centers, whole class instruction, outdoor play time, indoor play time, story time, rest time, morning and afternoon snacks, and lunch.
The infant room has a capacity of six (1:3 ratio). Daily schedule is personalized for each baby and driven by their needs, including feeding, diapering, sleeping, tummy time, play and exploration, outside adventures, and language development.
