HSPT Registration – My Child currently attends a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Washington

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) shall be administered a single time per student. Students may not take the exam more than once within the Archdiocese of Washington or in any neighboring (arch)diocese.

If a student takes the HSPT more than once, only the first score will be considered by admissions committees. Any additional score(s) will be disregarded and will not be factored into admissions decisions.

Please also note that no refunds can be issued after a testing session has taken place, including situations in which a student takes the HSPT a second time. Therefore, if your child has already taken the HSPT and is currently registered for a second testing session, we urge you to cancel that registration by Monday, December 1.

At this time, we are currently managing a waitlist for accommodated seating for December 13 & January 10. Please complete the form HERE to be placed on the waitlist. Accommodated testing for December 6 is currently closed. While we will do our best to accommodate, specific testing locations cannot be guaranteed.

All high schools within the Archdiocese of Washington require a placement test unless otherwise indicated by the high school.
