Placement Tests

For Saturday, January 11 Test Date – Testing has been postponed to Saturday, January 18 at ALL testing locations due to inclement weather. 

In the event of inclement weather or emergency conditions, the make-up test date will be postponed to Saturday, January 18. Announcements will be posted on our website here. Determinations will be made based on the inclement weather policy of each individual testing location. If the local school system associated with the testing site specified below announces a cancellation of weekend activities, the test will be postponed.

• Elizabeth Seton High School: Follows Prince George’s County Public Schools
• St. John’s College High School: Follows Montgomery County Public Schools
• St. Mary’s Ryken: Follows St. Mary’s County Public Schools

You cannot change your testing location at this time or in the event of a cancellation. If you need to cancel your registration, please contact the HSPT Office at [email protected]

Registration for the HSPT is now CLOSED. Please contact the high school(s) you are applying to for alternative testing opportunities. 

All high schools within the Archdiocese of Washington require a placement test unless otherwise indicated by the high school.
